As a smaller provider, we take a highly personal approach to recruitment, ensuring that our team works harmoniously and shares our core values. Checks:
Before joining our team, new members undergo thorough safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced police check (DBS). Following this, all staff participate in regular supervisions, appraisals, and DBS reviews.

Training:
We ensure that all staff members are fully inducted and trained for their roles, with ongoing support for their professional growth and development.
​
We maintain various levels of care on shift at all times, and for your convenience, our senior team members can be identified by their bottle green uniforms.
In addition to our care team, we also have a full ancillary team comprising housekeeping, kitchen staff, activity coordinators, and maintenance personnel.
Like our care roles, all employees undergo rigorous checks, supervision, support, and comprehensive training for their specific roles.

We take pride in offering opportunities to young workers who assist us as kitchen assistants and in some activities or one-on-one engagement with residents. Our young workers are typically adored by our residents, and we are pleased to provide them with an introduction to the workforce. Many of them stay with us to complete apprenticeships and eventually join our care team.
Our admin and leadership team is fully committed to maintaining the exceptional standards of service and care we offer. The care home is expertly managed by our Registered Home Manager, Kellie, and Deputy Home Manager, Kerry.

Additionally, our Director, Sophie, and Proprietor, Tom, are both actively involved in the day-to-day operations and standards of Sussex Grange. This engagement ensures strong support and commitment to both our team residents and families
