Day Care

Day Care gives an opportunity for people from the local community to spend the day at Sussex Grange where they can share facilities with the residents.
 
Our Day Care clients enjoy the opportunity for social interaction and stimulation as well as benefiting from our delicious  home-cooked meals.

A Typical Day:

 
Day Care Clients can arrive at any time after 9.30am.
 
Tea and coffee is available at any time throughout the day.
 
There is often the opportunity to enjoy a film on our Big Screen in the lounge during the morning.
 
Lunch is served in the dining room at 12.30
 
We usually have activities in the lounge on Monday and Thursday afternoon.
 
Supper is served at 5.30pm. We can prepare a sandwich to take away for clients who wish to leave earlier than this. 


OtherDetails:

Those who wish to can take a shower or a bath using our adapted bathrooms. Carers can assist with this as required.

We are unable to provide transport for our Day Care Clients, however members of the Venture Club have been able to use the Venture Bus for this purpose.
 
The cost of our Day Care service is £35 - this includes lunch and supper as well as any personal care that may be required.
